Blue Legal has partnered with national law firm to recruit a Marketing & Business Development Executive for their Edinburgh office. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing the firm’s content strategy, driving their marketing and business development efforts..
The Responsibilities:
* Assist in the creation and delivery of multi-channel communications, partnering with the business to develop narratives, produce supporting assets, and effectively share content with target audiences.
* Plan and execute integrated campaigns designed to strengthen client relationships, support revenue targets, and enhance the firm’s overall reputation.
* Oversee the production and delivery of agreed projects, measuring content performance, engagement, and using insights to continuously improve and refine activities.
* Support the BDM team in creating content for marketing and communications, including social media, photography, video, website content, and internal/external e-news publications.
* Manage and maintain a proactive content calendar, sourcing topics and coordinating PR opportunities that align with our target audience needs.
* Collaborate with BDM colleagues to deliver creative briefs, coordinate client events, and organise seminars.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the firm’s marketing database, supporting targeted communications and engagement efforts.
* Co-ordinate the management of BDM systems, procedures, and memberships to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the team.
The Candidate:
* You are an organised, proactive, and confident team player, able to prioritise a high volume of tasks and deliver exceptional results.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels within the organisation.
* You have excellent writing and storytelling abilities, with the creativity to deliver both offline and online content that resonates with various audiences.
* Experience in PR and stakeholder management is crucial, as is proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and managing social media channels.
* Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role within the professional services or legal sector.
