Senior Clinical Fellow – Rehabilitation Medicine (LED ST3 equivalent)
Applications are invited for a fixed-term position of 12 months, Monday‑Friday each week. The successful applicant will join an existing team of General Practitioners, Resident Doctors, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and nursing staff on the wards. Post holder is responsible for the care of patients on the inpatient rehabilitation wards and the Discharge Lounge and will be expected to provide medical leadership in the absence of the GP.
* Please note this advert may close earlier than advertised due to potential high volume of applications. The post holder is required to work flexibly across the wards and discharge lounge in line with service needs. The post holder would be expected to review patients holistically, facilitate safe and effective complex discharge planning and manage and escalating acute illness in line with clinical competence. The post is offered at 40 hours per week, covering ward work/rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
There is no requirement for the post holder to undertake on‑call duties. Key Messages: Not all NHS roles are eligible for sponsorship.
