Legal Case Administrator - Legal
Location: Barnet (Office Based)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
Full Time or Part Time
MHHP Law is a small and well-established firm based in Barnet. We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with experience in legal administration, case management or document management to support our Litigation Partner.
This is an important operational role within the firm. The successful candidate will help ensure that client files, documents and case management systems are accurate, organised and compliant, enabling the litigation solicitor to manage cases efficiently.
While the role includes some legal support tasks, its primary focus is on organisation, case administration and ensuring that litigation files are properly managed.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain the litigation case management system, ensuring electronic files are complete, accurate and up to date
* Assist the Litigation Partner with day-to-day tasks, including diary management, e-mail, and document filing, drafting correspondence, chronologies and document summaries, preparation of bundles for hearings.
* Liaise with clients to book appointments, obtain documentation and information, and provide updates on progress.
* Assist in the client onboarding process, to ensure identification documentation is collected, files are compliant with regulatory requirements, and that client expectations are met.
* Office administration including managing post, answering telephone calls, maintaining paper files, taking card payments, and arranging meetings.
* Closing and archiving completed files
