Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This role involves operating the front of house restaurant service and reception, ensuring that our guests receive a first class service while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment for staff.
Duties
* Supervise and manage front of house staff, including servers, baristas, and hosts, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are upheld.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Manning the reception desk during some shifts as residents check in and out of the hotel, dealing with telephone bookings and enquiries.
* Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
* Oversee daily operations, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and special events.
* Implement effective team management strategies to enhance staff performance and morale.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
* Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Previous experience in food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
* Background in kitchen operations or barista experience is an advantage.
* Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
