Education/Package:
1. Degree and LPC technical qualification required
2. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
3. A desire to learn and succeed
4. Attractive salary/package available, largely depending on experience and caseloads
The Position:
1. As Conveyancer you will be conducting matters on behalf of clients
2. You must be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence in all conveyancing matters
3. Management of support services for which you will be responsible, including the supervision of own support staff
4. Active participation in marketing activities, networking and developing new business
5. Financial control with particular regard to cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures
6. Providing assistance to other fee earners within the practice as required with particular emphasis during periods of sickness and annual leave
7. Bill clients in accordance with notified charging rates, in accordance with time spent on the client file and to achieve financial targets for income
8. Minimise risk in dealing with all work and ensure that all files are managed correctly, in accordance with the risk and file management procedures within the firm
9. Undertake suitable training and to comply with the training policy within the firm and the competency framework of the SRA
