We are looking for an awesome Events Coordinator to join our Sales team at The Barnsdale, Rutland.
Our 46-bedroom hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.
The ideal candidate will be a warm, friendly professional who shares a passion for service excellence, has an eye for detail and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This role will support the Wedding & Sales Manager at The Barnsdale, whilst working in a close partnership with our General Manager and Group Director of Sales.

In a nutshell, you will:
* Support our Wedding & Sales Manager in growing our business reactively, with a focus on wedding sales.
* Have a good understanding of our competitor set, and where we sit within the market.
* Easily adaptable and eager to learn about leisure events, including weddings, private dining room, and social bookings.
* Ensure high quality service, on time and to budget by managing weddings and events to enable us to fulfil our contracted promises to clients and guests consistently.
* Liase and build partnerships with our third party suppliers and ensure a strong working relationship with each of them.
* Act as a brand ambassador for The Barnsdale ensuring that a positive brand image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers.
