Head of HR - Brokerage firm
Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home.

I'm delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established, high-performing brokerage firm to support their search for a Head of Human Resources — a critical leadership hire as the business continues its impressive growth trajectory.
The Role
As Head of HR, you’ll work closely with the executive team and have end-to-end ownership of the HR function. You’ll lead on everything from talent acquisition and development to performance management, culture, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a forward-thinking HR strategy aligned with business objectives
* Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people matters
* Enhance and embed the company’s high-performance culture
* Oversee recruitment, succession planning, and workforce development
* Lead performance, reward, and employee engagement programmes
* Ensure HR policies and processes are compliant, consistent, and scalable
* Drive DE&I, wellbeing, and leadership development initiatives
Candidate Profile
* Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within financial or professional services
* Strong commercial acumen and confidence operating at executive level
* Hands-on and pragmatic, with the ability to switch between strategy and detail
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* A proactive, relationship-driven approach and strong communication skills
* CIPD qualified or equivalent preferred
