About the Role Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Essex & Suffolk Water for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive timely assistance with water leak issues.
Key Responsibilities Proactively contact customers who have previously reported water leaks Check in to confirm whether issues have been resolved Provide clear guidance and support to customers on resolving minor leaks where appropriate Escalate unresolved issues by raising tickets for engineering teams Accurately update customer records and maintain detailed notes of interactions Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism at all times
What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a customer service role (contact centre experience desirable) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written A problem-solving mindset with the ability to guide customers through solutions Good attention to detail and administrative skills Comfortable using multiple systems and updating records in real time A positive, team-oriented attitude
