We are recruiting on behalf of a school in Leeds for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and wider school staff to provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups.
The Role
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
* Help implement individual support plans and strategies.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
