Retail Committee Member– British Heart Foundation
Role Overview
The Retail Committee comprises senior Retail executives drawn from a range of national retailers and plays a key role in supporting the Board of Trustees in providing guidance, support and challenge on the strategy, performance and management of the Retail Division. We value their expert insight on the wider retail environment, consumer market trends, operational best practice, and any other areas that may be relevant to BHFs store and online retail operations and performance.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic guidance and challenge on retail strategy, performance and management of the Retail Division.
* Share expert insights on retail environment, consumer market trends, operational best practice and other relevant areas.
* Attend quarterly committee meetings (London office or virtual) lasting 3–4 hours, and one all‑day field trip per annum.
Qualifications
* Extensive senior retail experience across a range of disciplines.
* Strong commitment to BHFs mission and values.
* Understanding of the opportunities and challenges BHF faces.
Terms of Appointment
* Voluntary role; reasonable expenses will be met.
* Members appointed for an initial three‑year term, renewable with a maximum of two terms.
