Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Local Authority, based in Leicestershire, which is looking for experienced Adult Social Care Solicitors to join their Legal Services team. Role: Adult Social Care Solicitor Location: Leicestershire (hybrid/remote) Umbrella Rate: £50 - £60ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.06 - £52.76ph Contract Length: 3 months ongoing Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality legal advice and advocacy in relation to Adult Social Care (community care, adult protection), mental health matters and education law (including school admission appeals). Advising officers, Members, Cabinet and Committees. Interpreting and implementing Government legislation and policy. Advocacy in mental health matters (where suitably experienced). Key Requirements: Have 3 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Public sector experience within an Adult Social Care legal team. Ideally be able to attend at in-person hearings although not essential. Benefits: Hybrid/remote working. Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
