Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in the beautiful market town of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This role is ideal for a general practitioner but someone who is looking to move into a leadership role with management responsibilities. The position would be supported by the Clinical Director and practice manager. The Vet would be joining a large team of 8 vets across 4 sites in total. There are various levels of experience within the team with some holding certificates in surgery, dentistry and medicine so should the Vet wish to pursue a certificate or an area of interest this would be supported and encouraged.
The practice is looking for an ambitious an motivated Vet who is confident with sole charge work where required. They will be confident in routine surgeries and consultations and be approachable with excellent communication skills. They will show commitment to a high standard of Veterinary care and lead by example.

4. Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week over 4 days, shifts between 8:30am and 7pm
5. Weekends: 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
6. OOH: None
7. Team: Large veterinary team across 4 of the sites in total
8. Consultations: 15 minutes

Package:
35. Salary: Up to £70, per annum, commensurate to experience
