Senior Accounts Assistant - Wigan - Permanent - Up to £35k

They offer a wide range of services and have an impressive commercial and domestic client base. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join their professional finance team of 5. You will need to have a strong accounts background as you will be working closely alongside the Finance Manager, acting as the second in command and overseeing the finance team in the absence of the Manager.
Duties will include (but not limited)
1. Bank and credit card reconciliations
2. Processing overhead invoices
3. Processing and verifying subcontractors
4. Arranging payments for suppliers, subcontractors and HMRC
5. Completing VAT returns and CIS returns
6. Reconciling supplier statements
7. Setting up suppliers and clients on SAGE then uploading onto Construction Manager system
8. Setting up job numbers and assigning invoices to the correct job
9. Managing files and archiving within retention periods
