Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Godfrey Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing personalized support tailored to their individual needs, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.
Responsibilities
* Assist individuals with daily living activities to promote independence.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to support positive outcomes.
* Engage residents in activities that enhance their quality of life.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.
* Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role within residential or supported living settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to empowering individuals.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure which will be completed upon successful application.
