This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their skills and knowledge. Consideration will be given to those that don’t have all the essential criteria but are passionate about a career in sales/engineering and are willing to learn.
For this role candidates will need to have a sound engineering background in particular mechanical, pneumatic and electrical. An Engineering Degree and an understanding of bulk handling systems and products would be desirable.
You will need to be competent in the use of Microsoft Office and have the ability to read and understand 2D and 3D CAD drawings (training can be provided for the right candidate).
The main duties of this role include:-
* Responsibility for the conversion of initial customer enquiries into accurate priced quotations detailing equipment specification.
* Reviewing, analysing and interpreting customer specifications including construction drawings, bills of quantities and project scopes.
* Dealing with clients and new prospects from a wide range of backgrounds, from multi-national companies to local engineers, OEMs to end-users.
* Liaising with other colleagues both internally at our headquarters and globally through our regional offices to provide timely and accurate quotations.
* Dealing with technical and financial queries from clients and colleagues.
* Growing sales through dealings with new prospects and by up-selling and cross-selling other Group company products where appropriate.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey sales and design concepts/information to clients through a range of platforms is essential.
