What the role is
The B2B Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring sales promotion, and revenue generation of all products available at the specific Selina locations. The Sales Manager will represent the Commercial team on-property of all the hotels.
We are looking for a candidate who is entering their first managerial role, offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for sales to gain valuable experience and grow within the hospitality industry, reporting to the Regional Commercial Director and will be implementing Global and Country Level Sales strategies, and following corporate procedures. The candidate should know the cities assigned, and main feeder hospitality markets and should be developing partnerships and sales brand promotions
What you will be doing
1. Achieve revenue goals for all products (accommodation, F&B, Explore, Cowork, Wellness)
2. Manage, retain, and grow established customers (individual and group business)
3. Responsible for all sales processes at location level and synergies with other countries or global locations.
4. Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations.
5. Oversee the customer experience for fam trips, and educational visits for customers.
6. Upselling and cross-selling in location level to optimize revenue per customer.
7. Open new sales channels and manage existing ones for FIT and groups.
8. Create local level packages based on special events and local experiences offered (lead the collaboration with country and global level sales teams)
9. Close local level deals for groups and packages (corporate offsites, student groups, with the help of country and global teams when needed.
10. Sourcing new tour products and destinations to meet consumer demands.
11. Prospect new clients ., Tour Operators, Corporate, DMCs, Travel Agencies, M&E Agencies and Creative Marketing Agencies
12. Provide sales performance reports to the country and regional leadership on tracking progress against targets, successes and challenges.
13. Support in the creation of marketing initiatives for all products in the location with the support of the Country Sales & Marketing coordinator and external vendors.
14. Analyze data and provide reports with conclusions.
15. Conduct Sales Mission and attend trade shows in accordance with the market.
What you need for the role
16. Degree in Sales, Hospitality or Business Administration
17. Local hospitality Market knowledge
18. Hotel revenue management knowledge
19. English proficiency and local language
20. Minimum 1-2 years in sales management
21. Previous experience in sales in hospitality is a requirement.
22. Time Management, Creativity and Cultural Sensitivity Skills
23. Revenue and Profit Oriented
24. Previous experience with community engagement
25. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
26. Able to work independently and creatively to close new sales opportunities.
27. Able to work and collaborate in a matrix environment.
28. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
