Energy/Utilities industry experience is a must A leading energy company is seeking an experienced and driven Business Project Manager to join its Energy Project Management Team. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of energy trading and technology by aligning IT initiatives with commercial strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact programs and projects. Main Responsibilities of a Business Project Manager: Support the development of the Technology Roadmap in line with the CT30 Strategy. Align IT initiatives with UK commercial trading strategies and contribute to technology planning. Coordinate with key commercial stakeholders to align technology solutions with broader business strategies. Collaborate with CTG leads to set priorities, ensure effective resource allocation, and support financial planning aligned with the Medium-Term Plan (MTP). Manage strategic business change projects, including scope, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination. Define and implement appropriate delivery methodologies and governance frameworks for projects. Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT programs and projects within the energy sector. Ensure IT project delivery meets budget, timeline, and quality expectations while maintaining business alignment and support. Lead cross-functional teams across business analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and handover to support. Work with CTG and IT project teams to improve delivery performance and capability.
