The Team:
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support IT projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia (EMEA). The successful candidate will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to analyze and implement applications supporting core processes. The role includes overseeing a team of Business Analysts and providing analytical support for strategic decisions, including developing business cases and financial models.
The Role:
The Lead Business Analyst will be responsible for:
1. Project Implementation:
* Create business requirements documentation
* Map current and future business processes
* Analyze system change impacts
* Document new ways of working with support teams
* Gather data and create dashboards
1. Analysis:
* Develop business cases assessing cost, effort, and value
* Model scenarios for decision-making
* Evaluate vendor solutions and provide data-driven recommendations
* Manage new software requests and coordinate delivery teams
1. Leadership:
* Support and mentor Business Analysts
* Ensure consistency in team output
* Prioritize workload collaboratively with other team leads
1. Strategic Evolution:
* Adopt new technologies to enhance the BA team
* Stay informed on industry trends and introduce innovative ideas
* Identify opportunities to improve IT project delivery and service to the business
Skills and Experience Required:
* Leadership experience in functional technology teams, especially business analysis
* Excellent communication skills, with stakeholder influence ability
* Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach
* Self-motivated learner with curiosity for knowledge expansion
* Experience managing large-scale IT projects, including systems integration and change management
* Understanding of project methodologies, architectural frameworks, and ITIL disciplines
* Proficiency with data modeling tools like PowerBI
* Experience with business process design and notation tools such as BPMN or UML
* Legal or professional services experience (desirable)
