We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health, and associated complex needs.
We are recruiting Support Workers to join our team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
*Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21, which equates to an annual salary of approximately £26,652.72 based on a 42-hour workweek. The annual salary shown is for illustration purposes only. The National Living Wage applies and will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked. This is a full-time contracted position.
We offer flexibility regarding working hours/shifts, allowing you to work around other commitments.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting employment.
When you join Eden Futures, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive induction program involving face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing experienced team members.
For those new to care, we will support you in completing your Care Certificate and obtaining a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a relevant field, in partnership with our provider, Lifetime Training.

Main Responsibilities
* Support service users to lead full and active lives in accordance with their wishes and choices, considering their assessed needs and individual support and care plans, and participating in plan development where applicable.
* Support individuals to stay safe, take appropriate actions to safeguard their welfare, and protect them from abuse.
* Provide emotional support with a person-centered approach.
* Assist service users in participating in social activities, managing finances and medication responsibly, supporting practical tasks around the home, and respecting their personal care, hygiene, and healthcare needs.
* Serve as an informal point of contact within the service user's circle of support (e.g., families and social workers).
* Report and record any issues related to the care and support of service users to monitor their health and wellbeing accurately.
* Comply with health and safety regulations and prioritize the health, safety, and welfare of others.
