We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative pharmacist to work within our existing team of pharmacists and technicians. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate a high standard of patient focused pharmaceutical care, and will rotate around different specialities in the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Work within the Aseptic Unit performing the professional release of products, including CIVAS, PN chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
* Assist in the management of the Quality Assurance system and in delivering, developing and evaluating the Aseptic Service, ensuring compliance with national standards and statutes and trust policies.
* Act as an Authorised Pharmacist for the release of products prepared in the aseptic unit.
* Provide specialist pharmaceutical care to various clinical specialties on a rotational basis, ensuring effective medicines management and compliance with current standards, statutes and trust policies.
* Take part in weekend, bank holiday and emergency duty rotation.
* Develop and support rotational band 6 early careers pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and pharmacy undergraduate students.

CHFT is a digitally advanced hospital trust: we use Cerner Millennium Electronic Patient record, electronic prescribing and administration, a pharmacy dispensing robot at our Calderdale site, and electronic controlled drug registers (eCDR) which has led to nomination for a HSJ award.
