Midwife for Private Patient Maternity Services

Main duties of the job
As a primary care provider in midwifery, the midwife will deliver comprehensive care across community, labour ward (including MLC unit), and postnatal wards. The role requires flexible working, including internal rotation between areas and day/night duties to ensure 24-hour coverage.

Person Specification
* Midwifery degree or equivalent
* Mentorship or full SSSA preparation
* Registered Midwife (on NMC register)
Experience
* Completed 18 months post registration clinical experience
* Working as an RM in the UK
* Worked within a postnatal community setting
* Worked within a Midwife Led setting
Skills/knowledge/ abilities
* Knowledge of obstetric
* Emergency skills and drills and the ability to perform in an emergency situation
* IV drugs administration and cannulation
* Understanding and knowledge of fetal monitoring
