What you'll be doing
* Delivering training to groups of up to 24 trainees in Electrical engineering and machine principles (NVQ Level 4/5) and Basic electronics and mathematics (Level 2/3)
* Demonstrating practical electrical and machine concepts during lab sessions
* Supervising trainee‑led laboratory work aligned with module content
* Administering and invigilating both paper‑based and online examinations
* Marking and checking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Maintaining and updating training materials with Training Design staff
What we're looking for
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* You will have at least a Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline), or an HND/FdSc in Electrical Engineering or proven teaching/practical experience in Electrical Engineering.
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Experience in the theory and practical use of Electrical Machines (DC Motors/Generators, AC Motors/Generators) and Three Phase AC systems.
* Classroom experience in teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment, ideally with at least a Level 4 teaching qualification.
* Experience of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (or equivalent).
