Job Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated NMC Registered Midwife to join the Dingwall Community Midwifery Team. The team operates across Ross Lodge, Ross Memorial Hospital, Dingwall Health Centre, covering caseloads in Dingwall, Black Isle, Beauly, and Wester Ross, serving approximately 350 women annually. The role includes clinics and visits in Wester Ross, with occasional work within other Inner Moray Firth teams.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be flexible, a good team player, and possess excellent time management skills. Experience working in remote and rural areas and community settings is desirable but not essential. This position is suitable for Band 6 Registered Midwives.
Employment Details
This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours/week) to meet service needs. An on-call commitment is required for the Home Birth/Domino service within the community teams.
Requirements
A full, current driving license and access to a personal car are essential. Dingwall offers excellent transport links, being close to Inverness and renowned for outdoor activities and scenic landscapes.
