About the role
By undertaking this role, you will need to be able to build relationships with year groups and take on supportive and trusting role for pupils from a breadth of backgrounds.
The role will include:
* Being able to build trusting and meaningful relationship with pupils form all year groups who may need additional support.
* Jointly working with all other school colleagues, particularly the SENDCo.
* Assisting pupils to manage and engage with their learning and develop their confidence both in the classroom but also socially.
* Creating consistency for the pupils and teachers both in and out of the classroom.
* Implementing any tailored strategies that may improve focus and engagement.
* Reflecting on your own practice and putting together clear actions plans where improvement may be required.

What we are looking for
* Experience in similar roles such as support with children.
* Experience of supporting children with additional needs
* A child centred approach ensuring patience and compassion.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
* Minimum Qualification of GSCE C grade or Equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
