Title: Operations Analyst – Overnight Hub for U.S. Wealth Management Firm
Location: London, UK (office-based with some flexibility)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience, plus benefits
About us
Lefavi Wealth Management (LWM) is a U.S. Registered Investment Advisor managing approximately US$450m for around 500 client households. We’re building a small but high-impact operations hub in London to turn U.S. “overnight” into our productive day—so that U.S. advisors start each morning with fully updated accounts, staged cases, and ready-to-go client meeting materials, with many straightforward service items already progressed or completed where sufficient information is available.
Our UK entity focuses purely on operational execution and support. All regulated investment advice remains with our U.S. advisors.
The role
We’re hiring an Operations Analyst as one of the first employees in our London office. You’ll work UK daytime hours but focus on what happened in the U.S. while the team there was offline—custodian updates, new accounts, transfer status changes, reconciled performance data, and late-evening client instructions.
Your job is to translate all of that into clean, well-documented cases and meeting materials, so that when the U.S. team logs in they can go straight to execution and client conversations instead of spending their morning untangling overnight messages. While much of the role initially involves structured, repeatable overnight processing, you’ll increasingly take ownership of moving straightforward items through to completion—resolving issues and progressing workflows wherever sufficient information is available.
This is not a traditional back-office role. As one of the first hires in a new London-based operations hub, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to build a follow-the-sun model from the ground up. As the platform evolves, there will be opportunities to take on broader responsibility, help shape how the function scales, and play a role in a potential future operations-as-a-service offering to other U.S. advisory firms.
What you’ll do
• Monitor and process overnight custodian alerts and status changes (primarily from Charles Schwab).
• Update our CRM and internal systems to reflect new accounts, transfer progress, and any “more information required” flags.
• Create and stage cases with clear context and recommended next steps for U.S. colleagues, and where appropriate, progress items through to completion when sufficient information is available.
• Generate client-meeting reports using reconciled end-of-day data and assemble complete meeting packets for upcoming U.S. meetings.
• Support core servicing workflows such as ACAT/TOA transfers, ACH setups, beneficiary changes, and RMD/distribution requests, moving steps forward—and in many cases completing them—wherever possible from London.
• Help keep data and documentation clean and organised (resolving duplicates, filing signed forms, updating addresses and contact details).
• Contribute to operational projects and small automation initiatives as we refine the follow-the-sun model.
• Take ownership of straightforward operational items, resolving issues and progressing workflows end-to-end within defined processes rather than leaving work at the staging stage.
About you
• Experience in financial operations, back-office processing, client service, or a similar role—ideally in wealth/asset management, banking, brokerage, or fintech.
• Comfortable working with account openings, transfers, and standard servicing requests.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; you enjoy getting things “clean and correct.”
• Good written communication; you can summarise situations concisely and document clear next steps.
• Process-minded and curious about how to make workflows smoother and faster.
• Happy working in a small, hands-on team, where you’ll have real responsibility and visibility from day one.
• Comfortable taking ownership of straightforward issues, using sound judgment within defined processes to resolve items and progress workflows without unnecessary escalation.
What we offer
• Competitive salary in the £55k–£65k range, depending on experience.
• Real ownership from early on, with the opportunity to take work beyond staging and see operational items through to resolution.
• A central role in building a genuinely “follow-the-sun” operations model, not just another back-office job.
• The stability of an established U.S. firm with the feel of a small, entrepreneurial UK office.
• Exposure to cross-border operations and the opportunity to shape systems and processes as we grow.
Regulatory note
This is an operations-only position. The role does not involve providing investment advice or performing FCA-regulated activities; all advisory work stays with our U.S.-based advisors.
