The Job Role:
* Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
* Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriateaccording to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers\'instruction
* Use our mouth scanner to ensure our patients are given the best experience and record these in patientnotes
* Prepare the necessary materials and instruments
* Meet and greet patients with a friendly and professional manner
* Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed on SOE Exact
* Continually interpret the needs of the patients and dentist and deal with them promptly and efficiently.
* Work within our Front of House team to provide excellent customer service
* Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort
* Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
* Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
* Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice – Reception cover when required
* Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
* Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR decontamination and radiology
* To maintain and increase competence in nursing skills by actively following a programme of continuingprofessional development.
