Business Unit: Corporate Function Function/Department: Digital Solutions Place of Work: Mumbai Job Purpose As a Scrum Master you’ll develop and lead high-performing, multi-discipline team, instilling in them a clear vision and a passionate drive. You’ll play a pivotal role and be responsible for the progressive development of a Scrum team. Roles & Responsibilities In this role, we are looking for candidates who can lead and coach scrum adoption and drive a culture of agility and learning. Key responsibilities of a Scrum Master are: Support the journey / product owner in the following aspects: Create and onboard project teams and making sure everyone on the team understands the projects goals and scope. Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team. Support and educate the product owner in grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Help communicate the product owners Wishlist to the project team. Facilitate and support all scrum events: Product backlog refinement, preplanning, Sprint planning, Daily scrum, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective and other meetings as needed. Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback and ensure that the project is on track. Support The Development /testing Team In The Following Aspects Coach the development team in self-organization. Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint. Help the team continuously make progress on the project by making sure each person is working on the right tasks. Remove obstacles to the team members progress or guide the teams by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving. Guide, coach and motivate the team with the goal of increasing productivity. Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities Support the organization in the following aspects: Lead and coach scrum adoption and drive a culture of agility and learning. Keep the organization, particularly the project’s stakeholders, up to date on the progress of the scrum team’s projects. Implement changes and steps to increase the team’s productivity. Collaborate with other scrum masters to improve the methodologies efficiency.
