After School Club Leader – East Bierley CE (VC) Primary School
We are looking to appoint a new enthusiastic and dedicated colleague to support in our busy After School Club. You will work as part of our team to support the care and welfare of the children at East Bierley CE (VC) Primary School. East Bierley is a thriving, one-form-entry Primary School in the heart of our small but popular village, surrounded by green space and has a real community feel.
* Provide supervision and engagement for children in activities such as sports, arts, and games, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
* Plan activities, monitor child development, and communicate with parents.
* Manage administrative tasks such as registration and record-keeping, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
* Work as part of a team and, where appropriate, lead and support other staff; collaborate with the school to promote the club's success.
* Provide practical support for activities, support social skills, and contribute to children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Demonstrate energy, patience, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to behaviour management; uphold the Christian ethos of the school.
* Commitment to wrap around provision and safeguarding.
Person specification: We are looking for someone who shares our passion and vision and can extend this into our wrap around provision.
* All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may be considered as part of the recruitment process. This role is subject to DBS check at the appropriate level.
Contract details: Permanent | Hours: 10 per week (Mon-Fri 3.30pm-5.30pm) | Grade: 5 | Salary: £5,877.18 - £5,970.45
