Environments Manager
Location: Hybrid, Whiteley, Hampshire
Clearance Required: SC clearance.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Environments Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the coordination, scheduling, and management of all environment activities supporting the Customer programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all environment activities supporting the Customer programme
* Schedule, book, and de‑conflict environment usage across suppliers, service groups, maintenance, and testing
* Lead environment scheduling meetings to resolve conflicts based on technical constraints and programme priorities
* Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date environment schedule through regular stakeholder engagement
* Work with the Data Team to ensure data compatibility with the latest builds
* Plan and execute Build Verification Tests (manual and automated), ensuring version compatibility and specification compliance
* Support ATC Validation and Shadowing sessions, resolving issues as required
* Produce BVT QLTRs and attend Test Readiness Reviews
* Raise environment‑related Information CHGs and liaise with TAB/CAB to avoid conflicts during critical activities
Experience & Skills
* Previous experience as an Environments Manager/Lead or in a Test Lead/Manager role
* Strong knowledge of networking, version and configuration control, and remote access solutions
* Experience with NAS/FDP systems and ATC tactical/surveillance environments
* Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL, Linux, and vSphere
Core Competencies
* Highly organised with a strong understanding of the development, installation, and test lifecycle
* Excellent communicator, able to engage with ATC, engineers, suppliers, testers, control boards, and senior stakeholders

Pay Range
£61,500.00-£78,800.00
