The Role:
Reporting to the Buying Manager as a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for your own business brand portfolio and contribute to the development and management of the wider buying team. You will also help shape the business brand strategy through managing and nurturing existing brand relationships and pursuing new brand acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
1. Facilitating the development of Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and Buyers' admin through continuous coaching and support.
2. Ability to buy across all divisions, categories, and product groups.
3. Taking complete accountability and ownership of your product file.
4. Managing brand relationships competently and confidently.
5. Researching, initiating, and driving new business opportunities.
6. Possessing and demonstrating extensive knowledge of the full product file.
7. Collating and presenting budget and business performance reviews externally to major brands.
8. Maintaining strong internal relationships across departments.
9. Sharing market knowledge insights with the wider team and presenting educated viewpoints.
10. Participating in budget planning alongside the buying and merchandising teams.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years’ experience at Buyer level or senior, working with a global brand portfolio.
2. Strong market awareness and understanding of SEVENSTORE’s position within the ecosystem, both domestically and internationally.
3. Extensive knowledge of brands and products relevant to SEVENSTORE.
