Marketing and Communications Manager – Severn Trent Services

Role Summary
As a Marketing and Communications Manager you will lead the creation and delivery of bold, engaging marketing and communication campaigns across Severn Trent Services both internally and externally. You’ll own digital channels including web, email, social, and partner with multiple business areas to bring our brand to life.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop effective multi‑channel marketing and communication campaigns that deliver on business strategy, with clear measurable outcomes.
* Manage the development and delivery of the strategic internal communications plan, in conjunction with group internal comms, for the business directorate.
* Liaise with stakeholders at all levels across business areas and keep them updated on agreed campaign milestones.
* Manage the procedure, implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns.
* Develop detailed plans that provide visibility on planned activities which are time‑bound and transparent on how targets will be achieved.
* Manage budgets for individual projects and channels, suggesting ways to maximise value.
* Develop the internal messaging and channel strategy for colleagues via SharePoint, Teams, Email, WhatsApp Communities, etc.
* Act as a business partner to multiple business areas, acting as a conduit between business leads and the wider communications team.
* Manage and develop one direct report, fostering growth and performance through coaching and support.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
What You’ll Bring
To be successful you should be a creative strategist and confident communicator with proven experience in driving internal and external engagement, especially with large, dispersed teams. You should thrive on building strong stakeholder relationships, managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring every detail delivers results. Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels and the ability to orchestrate large‑scale, high‑profile events will set you apart.
