Document Controller Chatham, Kent Full-Time | Permanent £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE) The Opportunity Hill McGlynn is working in partnership with a well-established main contractor to recruit a Document Controller to join their team, based in Chatham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing business, supporting the smooth delivery of construction projects through effective document management and coordination. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate project records and ensuring all documentation is controlled, up to date, and easily accessible across multiple live projects. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain document control systems across multiple projects Ensure all drawings, specifications, and project documentation are correctly logged, distributed, and filed Track revisions and ensure the latest documents are issued to relevant teams Liaise with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure document accuracy and compliance Support project teams with administrative and coordination tasks Maintain document registers and ensure adherence to company procedures About You Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry Experience working on fit out and refurbishment projects is advantageous Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficient in document control systems and Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a proactive approach What's on Offer Competitive salary between £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Opportunity to join a reputable main contractor with a strong pipeline of work Supportive and collaborative working environment Long-term career development opportunities If you're an experienced Document Controller looking to join a dynamic construction team, Hill McGlynn would like to hear from you.
