Support for Learning Assistant
Location: Firth Primary School, Orkney Islands, Scotland
Salary: £27,258 - £27,459 pro rata / £14.94 - £15.05 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
Hours: 30 hours per week, Term Time
Contract: Temporary up to 4 July 2025
Suitable candidates are sought for the Support for Learning Assistant vacancy at Firth Primary School. As a member of the school team, you will work with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
Requirements include experience working with young people, a commitment to supporting and including all children, and a good general education with evidence of literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to travel efficiently within Orkney is also required.
This position is subject to membership in the PVG Scheme for work with children.
