Role: Quality & Compliance Advisor
Location: Northampton
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (with 30 min break)
Salary: £14.42 per hour / £30,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quality & Compliance Advisor to join a well-established logistics operation. This role sits within the Quality & Compliance team and plays an important part in making sure standards are met, issues are investigated properly, and customers can trust the service being delivered.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys investigating issues, solving problems and working in a busy, regulated environment, where attention to detail and good communication really matter.
The team & working environment
You’ll be joining a mixed-experience team, made up of both experienced advisors and those still developing. It’s a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on investigations and meeting tight deadlines.

Working Pattern:
Home working: Monday, Tuesday & Friday
Office based: Wednesday & Thursday

Duties of a Quality & Compliance Advisor:
Investigations & Complaints
Investigate customer-related incidents and complaints from start to finish
Log all complaints accurately on the internal QMS / EQMS system
Gather information, review evidence and identify what went wrong
Use root cause analysis to agree corrective and preventative actions
Work closely with internal teams, customers and approved hauliers
Escalate serious risks or issues where needed
Audits & Compliance
Support internal audits and self-inspections
Record audit findings and raise follow-up actions where required
Track progress and make sure actions are completed
Communication & Reporting
Keep customers and stakeholders updated throughout investigations
Present findings clearly and agree next steps
Produce reports, data analysis and trend information linked to KPIs and SLAs
What we would like from you:
GCSEs (or equivalent) as a minimum
Experience in complaint handling, investigations, quality or compliance
Experience working in a regulated environment (highly desirable)
Knowledge of GDP Guidelines or MHRA regulations (helpful but not essential)
Strong attention to detail with an organised, methodical approach
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Confident using MS Office and internal systems
Clear and professional communication skills
