About the role
Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a Security Administrator to join our Regional Buildings team based at our AWE - Reading site.
Within this role you'll provide administrative support to the Balfour Beatty Security Team
What you'll be doing
The main responsibilities within this role are to :
1. Facilitate access for all visitors, staff and contractors.
2. Assist with queries from the client pass office
3. Maintain a list of all contractor IT devices approved for site use and carry out regular audits
4. Coordinate IT permits for visitors
5. Provide regular updates to the pass office on clearance and right to work expiries
6. Collate BPSS vetting information on the BBST portals
7. Assist the Security Coordinator in providing accurate and timely information for weekly visits and Out of Hours submissions
8. To be one of the site contacts for security related enquiries.
9. Take personal responsibility in your actions in relation to both the Client and Company reputation.
10. Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety and delivering Zero Harm.
11. Ensure information is stored in line with GDPR for personnel - employees/contractors
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
12. Friendly and approachable to assist visitors with navigation of the site access processes
13. Ability to achieve security clearance
14. Highly motivated, proactive and practical
15. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written English
16. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft office 365
17. Management of own workload
18. Cooperative with a can do attitude
19. Understanding of Health & Safety at work regulations
