Specialist training and support will be provided where necessary with the chosen candidate required to develop into a skilled maintenance technician who may be required to: Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs to the following electrical systems: Low voltage electrical systems Fire alarm systems Nurse call systems Alarm systems Carry out electrical installation works. The role involves shift working covering the site on a 24/7 basis. The shift rota is based on a 5-week pattern. Job Purpose To install, maintain, service and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant and infrastructure.
Provides technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. Act in the role of Competent Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum, for the Electrical Distribution (LV) system. Undertakes condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports.
