Job Title: Science Technician
Are you an enthusiastic and resourceful Science Technician seeking a new challenge? Do you possess the practical skills and personality to motivate and energise Science pupils and staff? Are you passionate about the Science Curriculum and helping pupils achieve their full potential?
We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised, and experienced Science Technician to join our friendly and supportive Science Department. The successful candidate will inspire pupils through their passion for Science, drive practical teaching and learning, and demonstrate a strong desire to improve pupil achievement. As Washwood Heath Academy is an all-through Academy, there is potential to support practical curriculum in Key Stages 1 to 5 and collaborate with colleagues in the Primary phase to enhance understanding of pupils' development of Science practical skills.
About Washwood Heath Academy
Washwood Heath Academy is a relatively new All-Through Academy (Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form) located in East Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Science team and contribute to a faculty committed to providing a first-class education. We deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum where Science teachers and technicians are experts in conveying knowledge and skills. Candidate Requirements
This role is suitable for any Scientist holding a minimum of a UK Level 3 Science Qualification (or equivalent) seeking a new challenge. CVs will not be accepted. The role requires the ability to speak fluent spoken English.
