Job Description
A well-established engineering business in the Chesterfield area is looking to appoint an experienced Parts Manager to join their busy and thriving team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the parts department, ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service while maintaining strong supplier relationships and effective stock control.
Key Responsibilities
* Procuring spare parts from suppliers and maintaining effective inventory levels
* Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parts and services
* Providing high levels of customer support and aftersales service
* Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on departmental KPIs
* Managing, mentoring, and developing a small team
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service levels
* Working closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operational performance
* Managing stock accuracy, ordering processes, and inventory control
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience within a similar role in a similar sector
* Strong knowledge of parts operations, inventory management, and procurement processes
* Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating with suppliers
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good commercial awareness and understanding of KPI management
* A proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
