Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning & Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day cleaning and general maintenance operations at Yate Shopping Centre. This role is essential in ensuring that the centre remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for both customers and tenants. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of cleaning and maintenance staff. Oversee daily cleaning operations across the shopping centre. Ensure health & safety compliance at all times. Conduct regular inspections of the premises and report or address maintenance issues. Coordinate with external contractors for specialist repairs or services. Maintain cleaning and maintenance supplies inventory. Create staff rotas and manage attendance. Provide training and guidance to team members. Liaise with centre management regarding operational needs and improvements. Requirements: Proven experience in a cleaning and/or maintenance supervisory role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Good understanding of health & safety regulations. Ability to manage a team effectively and work independently. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexible and hands-on approach to work.
