We are seeking a friendly and highly organised Volunteer Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Galanos House Care Home in Southam, Warwickshire.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch break. Some weekend or evening work may be required.

Key responsibilities of the role:
Source and recruit volunteers who will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and comfort of our care home residents
Support volunteers by providing appropriate induction, guidance and ongoing development and learning opportunities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the placement of volunteers meets the needs of the care home
Develop and facilitate workshops, seminars and training sessions for volunteers
You will have outstanding people skills, a friendly and positive attitude. An NVQ Level 3 Volunteer Management or equivalent and Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent is essential. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.

Galanos House is one of six care homes, situated on the edge of Southam, a small market town in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. Our care home has a CQC Outstanding rating.
