Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Work with large datasets, performing ETL activities, data transformation and data quality tasks
• Build scripts and assist in designing process improvements for internal and external stakeholders
• Support the Operations team through analytical insight and problem-solving activities
• Assist with technical and data-driven queries from internal teams and clients
• Produce accurate documentation, reports, and technical notes
• Collaborate with external clients—many of them major retail brands—on bespoke analytical queries
• Gain hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, Trino, Power BI, SSRS, Excel, Python, VBA, SAP, Oracle, Teradata, and Snowflake
• Participate in wider PRGX placement activities, including social and CSR initiatives
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Qualifications
• Undergraduate student enrolled in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another numerate degree with a mandatory placement/sandwich year
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships
• Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence working both independently and in a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and learning
• No prior technical experience required, but advantageous
Desired (Not Essential) Technical Skills
• SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS
• Excel / Office 365
• Python or VBA
• Data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Jira or similar project management tools
