About the role
The Academic Office provides support to academic course teams. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic administrative officer to provide maternity cover for this role.
The post-holder should have the ability to deliver effective administrative and operational support and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Under the direction of the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Manager the postholder will refer to University policy in providing guidance and advice to students and supporting academic colleagues in the application of correct procedures.
The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator who has excellent attention to detail, a positive approach to customer service and is proactive in supporting colleagues to achieve team deliverables.
In this post you will produce accurate and reliable written information, be confident using databases and have excellent IT skills. A calm approach to problem solving whilst working quickly and effectively is fundamental to the success of the role as is the ability to respond to requests which require investigation with another member of the team or colleagues from across the AUB. You will need the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise a range of administrative tasks through careful planning.
Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience as a minimum requirement.
Whilst there is some flexibility over the working pattern, we are looking for someone to work across Monday to Friday.
