SEN Learning Support Assistants Needed in Crawley
This isn’t a “sit at your desk” kind of job!
Teaching Personnel are working with a brilliant SEN primary school in Crawley looking for people who bring energy, patience, and a sense of fun into everything they do. If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t mind getting involved in singing, dancing, messy play, and outdoor learning, you’ll fit right in here.
What your day might look like
One minute you could be helping a child build confidence through arts and crafts, the next you’re outside exploring or joining in with music and movement activities. The focus is on creating a safe, engaging environment where children can enjoy learning in their own way.
This is a role where your personality matters just as much as your experience.
But it’s important to say, it’s not always easy.
The children you’ll support have a range of complex needs and disabilities. There can be challenging moments and some days will test you. That’s why the school is looking for people who are:
Calm and resilient, even when things feel tough
Naturally patient and understanding
Able to build trust and strong relationships
Willing to learn and adapt, as no two days are the same
If you’re someone who can stay positive, keep showing up, and genuinely cares, this role is incredibly rewarding.
What’s on offer
£92.82 per day
Opportunity to move onto a salaried contract, including holiday pay, SEN allowance, and Crawley allowance
What you’ll need
Full availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:45pm. This is essential
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, required before starting
A proactive, hands-on attitude and a good sense of humour
This is one of those roles where you’ll go home tired, but knowing you’ve made a real difference.
If that sounds like your kind of job, we’d love to hear from you.
