Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Graduate Digital Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for our projects. As a Graduate Digital Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting model creation, coordination, and data integration. Your experience in BIM software, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment will be essential for excelling in this role. Responsibilities
1. Support the development of 3D BIM models and digital deliverables under the guidance of senior team members.
2. Assist in creating plans, sections, elevations, 3D ISO views, and schedules for coordination, installation, and as-built documentation.
3. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to support BIM model coordination and digital data management.
4. Identify design clashes and potential conflicts using BIM coordination tools.
5. Maintain and update BIM content libraries and templates.
6. Generate clash detection reports and coordination documentation.
7. Extract basic quantities and data from BIM models for reporting and planning purposes.
8. Follow established BIM workflows, standards, and protocols.
9. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and coordination workshops.
10. Stay informed about current BIM trends, tools, and industry developments.
Qualifications
1. A recent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields) with exposure to Revit, 3D CAD, or equivalent.
2. Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks (coursework or internship experience acceptable).
3. A basic understanding of BIM principles and an interest in developing technical expertise.
4. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
6. Interest in construction, digital design, and multidisciplinary coordination.
7. Previous knowledge of busbar systems is beneficial but not required—training will be provided.
