Join Detectronic's Field Services team as a Team Leader!
More about the role:
* Lead a team on-site made up on an Assistant Field Service Technician or Field Service Technician ensuring quality work and health & safety compliance.
* Work safely and effectively as part of a one/two/three-person crew installing and maintaining equipment onsite, diagnosing problems and taking appropriate action with minimal supervision.
* Provide feedback to managers for performance reviews and project improvements.
* Take ownership of designated Field Services H&S tasks.
* Train and support Assistants and Technicians on the job.
* Safely operate and maintain company vehicles; report defects promptly.
* Complete all site works to client satisfaction.
* Clean, secure, and care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
* Handle loading/unloading materials safely and correctly with a high regard for health & safety.
* Follow all company H&S policies, RAMS, and wear correct PPE.
* Engage with clients on-site to communicate progress and offer support.
* Share feedback and ideas with supervisors for continuous improvement.
About you:
* Proven experience in a similar field-based or technical role is essential.
* Strong understanding of the water and wastewater industry is advantageous.
* Ability to use a range of hand tools to install, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment.
* Professional, approachable, and positive "can-do" attitude.
* Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and deliver high-quality work.
* Customer-focused with a commitment to right-first-time delivery.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
* Right to work in the UK is essential.
