In this role, you will:
6. Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
7. Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures
8. Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
9. Ensuring floor levels are maintained
10. Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances
11. Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner
12. Operate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads
13. Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards
14. Carrying out pre-start checks
About you
15. 3 years plus experience operating a CAT 994 Loader in a production mining operation, including loading at the ROM Equivalent experience in Komatsu WA 1200, Le Tourneau 1850
16. Possess strong mining operational skills and be able to demonstrate your ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment
17. Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
18. Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
19. Valid Australian drivers license
