Position: Morning Cleaner
Location: Ilford (IG2)
Salary: £13.85 per hour
Days: Tuesday & Thursday 10am-12pm (4 hours per week)
We are seeking a reliable and professional Cleaner for a site in Ilford (IG2), working within a care home environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across communal areas, lounges, bathrooms, dining rooms, and small offices. You will need to be able to read and follow the cleaning specifications in a care home.
This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact courteously with residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning bathrooms, communal areas, lounge, and kitchen
* Regular disinfection of high-touch surfaces
* Waste disposal
* Replenishing cleaning supplies
* Reporting any maintenance or health & safety concerns
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (Adult Workforce) – mandatory before commencing work.
* Proven cleaning experience, ideally within a care home or similar environment.
* Ability to work to a high standard, following cleaning schedules and health & safety guidelines.
* Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
