Role Overview
We are recruiting a Benefits Advisor to join an efficient, dedicated, customer‑focused team, responsible for administering Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction in a secure and modern way.
Responsibilities
 * Administer Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction schemes.
 * Provide advice and assistance to customers and recover overpaid benefit.
 * Use complex software systems accurately and meet tight deadlines.
 * Maintain consistency and accuracy in all records.
Qualifications
 * Experience working in the Benefits environment is desirable (full training can be given).
 * Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer care.
 * Proficiency in complex software systems.
 * Ability to work to tight deadlines while ensuring consistency and accuracy.
 * Self‑motivated, able to thrive in a pressured environment.
Benefits & Working Conditions
 * Salary: £31,022 – £33,699 per annum.
 * Permanent full‑time contract, 37 hours per week.
 * Home working contract.
