Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to invite applications for a 12‑month, 2PA Consultant post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a special interest in reproductive health.
This role will have a predominant focus on reproductive health, supporting the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care within our well‑established Women’s Health services.
We are seeking enthusiastic, dynamic and forward‑thinking clinicians who are passionate about collaborative working and committed to providing safe, high‑quality care. The successful candidate will join a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to the ongoing development of reproductive health services within the Trust.
The post holder will provide consultant‑led care at our standalone Reproductive Health Unit at Broad Street Plaza in Halifax. Responsibilities include participation in teaching and supervision, fostering effective teamwork, supporting audit, clinical governance and service improvement initiatives, and contributing to reproductive health service development.
Person Specification (Essential)
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* CCT (or within six months of obtaining) in Gynaecology.
* Broad experience in Gynaecology.
* Evidence of teamwork, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
* Commitment to clinical governance, audit, and teaching.
Desirable
* Subspecialty or special interest that complements the department.
* Involvement in service development and innovation.
* Experience in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching.
