Lecturer - English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Salary: £25,374 - £49,933

The School of Services to People is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated lecturer to join its ESOL team.
Applicants must have teaching and assessing experience in ESOL, and understand the variety of learners' circumstances on ESOL programmes. Ideally, applicants will have experience delivering Entry 1 to Level 1 qualifications, providing pastoral support for learners, and utilising digital technologies in delivery and assessment. You should also hold a teaching qualification or be prepared to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
Skills in teamwork, working on own initiative, motivating and inspiring learners, developing a learner-focused curriculum, and the ability to continually improve the learning experience are essential.

Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or the willingness to attain one within a specified period. This will be a contractual requirement and part of EWC registration.
